The Applewood Hotel was in a great location, close to the shops and beach. It's an easy walk, especially for those with children. We had a triple room, which was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and we all had a great night's sleep. The hosts were wonderful, upbeat and more than happy to help! We had a wonderful stay and we would stay here again!

I booked this Hotel as part of my solo hike/trip around the South of England and it was perfect if you just need being comfy, good slep, calm and being on your own. Absolutely 0 noise at night. Literally 2 minutes walk to the promenade which ends up in Bournemouth Pier (lovely área to walk and see the sunset) and 10 minutes walk to the shopping áreas, gardens and town centre. I felt pretty safe in the área. Something I am not able to say from other parts of England I have done in this Trip. So for me a 10/10 if you want calm, being by your own and being comfy. If I go back to Bournemouth/Poole Area, something that I wish, i would def stay again at the Applewood. Check-In and Check-Out could have not been easier.

I like how it's so close to the beach and very convenient. There is a Nisa local store close by which is good. The member of staff took great care of us and whatever we needed, we were given without any hesitation. The room was cosy and comfortable and for the price, it's not bad, especially if you are staying no more than 2-3 nights. For longer, I advise either upgrading or booking a bigger room. There is a south-facing garden which is very spacious and has lots of things to do whilst outside, for kids and adults.

We received a warm welcome on arrival. The bed was very comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. The bathroom was a generous size with an amazing power shower. Plenty of tea and coffee supplied in the room. The location of the hotel is ideal for walking into town for dinner and drinks with easy access to a wonderful beach and amusements. Having a parking space in the hotel carpark was a must and was very appreciated. There was plenty of choice for breakfast from cereals, Yogurts, light and full English breakfast with tea, coffee and orange juice.

Excellent location. We went to a concert at the BIC which is only 10 minutes walk away. We have stayed there before. The hotel has had a refurb. through out and is very tidy / clean. Plenty of on site free parking. Breakfat is a tenner each extra if required, book on arrival. Cereal, yogurt, tea / coffee, toast with a selection of spreads and egg on toast. Well worth it. The owners are very friendly and made the effort to see us off in the morning. I liked it there and would book again. Bed was huge and shower powerful. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Gardens neat and tidy if some fresh air is required, weather permitting.

Really lovely hotel, nice fresh decor and very clean. Beds are firm but comfortable. Nice quality bedding. Facilities are good and well thought out. Rooms are spacious and practical (lovely bay windows too!). Shower was amazing. Breakfast was not the cheapest, but you get a lot for you money. The shining star of Applewood is the customer service, which we found to be warm, welcoming, professional and helpful. The only minor bug-bear was the heating; freezing at night, absolutely roasting during the day. However, it is personal choice and you cant keep everyone happy, it definitely wouldn't stop us returning or recommending it!

We loved our stay here so much. Our host Jenna was so welcoming and took great care of us. We hadn’t booked breakfast initially, but she made us feel nothing was too much bother. The room was very modern and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was so nice, overlooking the garden. I think we found a real gem with this hotel. The staff really make a place and Jenna was an amazing host. We were able to walk to the beach and a nice restaurant easily.
